Jiangsu Vocational College of Finance and Economics is a full-time ordinary college approved by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and filed with the Ministry of education on July 15, 2004. It is formed by the merger of two national key secondary technical schools, the former Jiangsu Huaiyin College of Finance and Economics and Jiangsu Huaihai College of Industry and Trade. The college is subordinate to the Provincial Department of Education. The college's predecessor, Jiangsu Huaiyin College of Finance and Economics and Jiangsu Huaihai College of Industry and Trade, were respectively in charge of the Provincial Department of Finance and the Provincial Grain Bureau. Over the past 56 years, the school has delivered nearly 60000 high-quality technical and skilled talents to the financial, tax, financial, marketing, legal, grain, machinery and other departments and industries in Jiangsu Province and even the whole country.
