The Institute of international education is the centralized management department for the teaching and management of foreign students in China. Through the management of foreign students in China, it expands the scale of foreign students and improves the diversified and international running level of the school. Its main responsibilities include:
1. Formulate relevant policies and development plans for the cause of international students in China, and do a good job in the use and management of relevant funds for international students in China in accordance with the relevant provisions of relevant national ministries and commissions and schools;
2. Coordinate relevant functional departments and teaching units of the university to carry out student status management, religious management, visa management, daily management and other work;
3. Responsible for overseas enrollment publicity and enrollment related work of foreign students in China;
4. Coordinate all secondary colleges to expand the scale of foreign student education, and be responsible for carrying out short-term exchanges of foreign students in China, preparatory programs and other non academic exchange projects;
5. Be responsible for the organization and implementation of international Chinese teaching activities for foreign students, and coordinate the connection of professional courses for foreign students;
6. Assist in the selection, assessment and training of international Chinese teaching teachers, as well as the selection of part-time teachers;
7. Be responsible for the management of awards and grants for foreign students in China;
8. Assist in carrying out cultural and sports activities, social practice, cultural investigation and other activities for foreign students;
9. Complete other tasks assigned by the school.
